It is of the utmost importance that Hong Kong sticks to its guns and enforces the ban on smoking next year for the well-being of workers in the food and beverage industry. As it is in Macau, people can smoke in all locations without any restraint, and people are free to light up in bars, restaurants and nightclubs. Let us see, with the full implementation of the ban next year in Hong Kong, what action Macau will take.
